Sunday, April 4 11:00am Easter 2021, Hope 2.0
Member John Park
Last year we were holding out hope for the coming year. This year we are still holding out for "Hope" and look for it in Mother Earth and the people and cultures who tend our lands. Enjoy the growing life of spring. See you Sunday for Easter.

Sunday, April 11 11:00am Milk and Cookies and the Milky Way
Rev. Barbara Wells ten Hove
As we continue to struggle as a nation and a world with the challenges all around us, it’s helpful to take a deep breath, pause and gather energy to move forward. It’s worth asking, "Can kindness bring healing and hope to our world? And does the universe even care?”
Our guest this morning is the Rev. Dr. Barbara Wells ten Hove. Rev. Barbara started her ministry at East Shore Unitarian in Bellevue, WA in 1985 and since then has served congregations in Washington, Colorado, Maryland, and British Columbia. She and her husband Jaco retired in 2017 as Emeritus Ministers from Cedars UU Church on Bainbridge Island and are now happily enjoying life in Bellingham, WA. While her focus in ministry was on worship and UU evangelism, in retirement she preaches, writes, sings, volunteers at Hospice and does “noble chores” at her Co-housing community.

Greetings Free Church Members and Friends,
After much email and phone discussion we've decided to cancel our Sunday services and all group gatherings. The board and other members want to support the effort to slow the spread of the Covid 19 virus, give the medical systems time to prepare and protect the vulnerable among us from infection.
We would like to keep our community strong and supported via internet and phone communication and put in place a network of helpers to deliver meals or supplies if someone needs support. Any ideas on how to keep our web of love strong would be enthusiastically received. Email any board member or worship committee member with ideas please. We'd also appreciate help spreading the word about the canceled service Sunday to those without internet. Email donna@surepost.net if you call or contact a non-internet user so we can cross him/her/them off our list.
Consider trying to keep 11 on Sunday as a shared reverent time when we can mutually think about issues and ideas and center ourselves spiritually. Check the Free Church website for some reading or viewing materials related to this effort. We'll try to get some materials up by 11 on Sunday. Amy has offered to record her March service and post it for us to view and maybe find a way to have the Life Journey group meet virtually.
Stay healthy and feel our love. Let us know if you need help.
